Please read these terms carefully before renting a vehicle from Sixteen Cars. By making a reservation or signing a rental agreement, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

General conditions

These Terms of Service govern the rental of vehicles by Sixteen Cars (“we,” “us,” “our”) to the customer (“you,” “the renter”). By completing a booking or signing a rental agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

Sixteen Cars reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking shall apply to your rental.

Eligibility & licenses

To rent a vehicle from Sixteen Cars, you must meet the following requirements:

Additional drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements and be registered on the rental agreement before driving the vehicle.

Reservations & payment

Reservations may be made online, by phone, or in person. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment or a valid deposit.

The deposit is released within 7 business days of the vehicle’s return, provided there is no damage, outstanding fines, or excess mileage.

Early returns are not eligible for a partial refund unless agreed upon in writing at the time of booking.

Vehicle use

The rented vehicle must be used in accordance with Moroccan road traffic laws and the conditions below:

Violation of these conditions may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and full loss of the security deposit, without prejudice to further legal action.

Fuel policy

Vehicles are provided with a set fuel level at the time of pick-up, as noted on the rental agreement. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level. The fuel level is recorded and signed by both parties at pick-up.

If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at pick-up, a refueling charge will be deducted from the security deposit at the prevailing market rate, plus a service fee of 100 MAD.

We recommend refueling before returning the vehicle and keeping your receipt as proof.

Insurance & liability

All rentals include third-party liability insurance as required by Moroccan law. Additional coverage options are available at extra cost:

Insurance does not cover damage resulting from reckless driving, driving under the influence, or breach of these terms. The renter remains liable for any excess amount specified in the agreement.

Accidents & breakdown

In the event of an accident or breakdown, the renter must:

Sixteen Cars will arrange a replacement vehicle where possible, subject to availability. Breakdowns caused by the renter’s negligence (e.g., running out of fuel, tire damage from off-road use) are not covered.
